The Regional Scientific and Practical Conference
"Human Rights: Contents and Methods of Education"

According to the Order of the Ministry of General and Vocational Education # 1184 of May 15, 1998, from October 5 till October 10, 1998 the Centre for Civic Education of the Academy for Upgrading Professional Standards and Retraining of Educators and the Moscow School of Human Rights will carry out in Sochi the regional scientific and practical conference "Human Rights: Contents and Methods of Education".

The educational authorities of the South subjects of Russian Federation, teachers of schools, professors of high schools, methodologists of social sciences are invited to the conference.

The following problems will be considered:

• Human rights education, culture of peace in the system of education as a condition of humanization of society;
• Technique of human rights education;
• Psychological and pedagogical conditions of human rights education (interaction in training, conflict resolution, democratization of school life).

The known Russian and foreign experts in the field of human rights education will take part in work of a conference.

The travelling and accommodation expenses are carried out by directing party.
